British scientists have recorded a 70% reduction in methane gases (CH4) expelled by our Bovine farm friends using a specialized diet heavy on a fumaric acid-based food additive . The breakthrough could significantly reduce the amount of methane emitted into the earth's atmosphere as farm animals are responsible for approximately 17% of greenhouse methane emissions. In fact, a single cow produces approximately 280 liters of methane gas per day.
