yes, i am uncomfortable with being hugged from behind (pretty intimate, don't you think?) by strangers in public.
but the most uncomfortable thing about that afternoon was the "street kid" (i don't know what else to call him, he looked like a rejected extra from "rent") who had, hanging from his pocket, an old-school-looking computer mouse (cord and all). when people would do or say things that didn't please him he would reach for the mouse, point it at the offender, click, then "drag" the person into an imaginary trash can or, for PC users, a recycle bin.
